Lust and Celebration are the cards I pulled today and it’s no surprise with the transits we have the season of the lion this year.

With Crowley’s Thoth tarot proudly displaying its own version of the 8th trump card, Lust reminds us that passion and drive are a strength as well. But where do we pour in our passion and strength while the sun transits leo? Look no further than the card below, the 3 of cups in the Rider Waite Smith. The three celebrants hoist up goblets in praise of the harvest and what the summer has wrought in its goodness and nourishment.

How can we take our lust and turn it towards the good times we’re meant to take with us to the autumn and winter? Well let’s look at our hands, both in the cards and in real life: in the lust card we see the main figure seemingly holding an open sky in her hand. In each celebrant of the RWS card we see them holding cups that represent the flow of our emotions and the bounty we create when we work with nature. What skys have opened up to you since Jupiter moved into Leo? Now that the sun meets Jupiter in this fixed fire sign we must truly explore how the heat of our talents need to to be creating right now.

It’s a juicy month, these next few weeks. Heat is coming for our healing. Friction is coming for the areas of our lives where we’re struggling to find discipline. There is much to recommit to in the fires of this summer though. How have you healed? How would it feel to shoulder more of the load that shackles so many of us? Now is the time to help out and take the healing we’ve been accumulating for ourselves and take it out into the world and be seen in this new light.
